Indian Idol 5 Winner: Sreeram Chandra
Sreeram Chandra, the season 5 of the popular musical reality show “Indian Idol” on Sony Entertainment Television was surely a dream come true. The much-anticipated finale of the reality television was held on Sunday night in which 24-year-old Sreeram Chandra emerged as the ultimate winner. In order to win the much coveted title of the musical sensation of the year, the Hyderabad based singer had to beat the two other finalists, Rakesh Maini from Agra as well as Baroda resident Bhoomi Trivedi. By registering the title of “Indian Idol” 5 winner, Sreeram Chandra was able to take home a cash of Rs. 50 lakh, a bike, a car as well as a year long contract with Sony Television. Apart from these, the winner would also get an opportunity to sing in an upcoming Yashraj Films movie.
